Where ThamesWey distributes or supplies electricity, heat or cooling to any premises otherwise than in pursuance of a contract and the owner or occupier of the premises takes that supply of electricity, heat or cooling, the owner or occupier shall be deemed to have contracted with ThamesWey as from the time such a supply was taken. Supply under a deemed contract basis occurs in each billing period when:
- A signed contract is not returned to ThamesWey by the later of: a) the first 14 days of supply or; b) 14 days of being requested by ThamesWey; or
- The supply period defined in the contract expires and the contract makes no provision for ongoing supply arrangements from the date of expiry; or
- There is a change in the owner or occupier of the premises and the new owner or occupier has not returned a signed contract in accordance with paragraph i).
